These modded Gameboys use the original motherboards and hardware, so it functions the same as it did in the 90s, but with some much-needed quality of life updates, like enhanced speakers and a backlit screen! There are a bunch of crazy retro colours available, or you can request your own. They cost around $350-$400 depending on what colour you get, but that’s cheaper than getting a second-hand original online.
